Friendly, helpful staff. Decent price. While some trails only allow for single kayaks there ate some you can do doubles on if you wanted to take the kids.

I made a second reservation for a week later and couldn't be happier. It was a beautiful summer day, the kayaks were in great shape with plenty of places to stash food and drinks, and the coastline up to turnip rock was awesome.
This place has a perfect set up for a day trip to turnip rock. I Highly recommend calling the day off to see the weather which can be unpredictable on the Lake. Also ask the desk for the wait time if you come in after 10 am. Stop by next door for a bite to eat after you paddle.
We are beginner kayakers but decided to go for it. The paddle to turnip rock was long but we did it in less than average time. Well worth the sore arms the next day.
The kayak place is really good, but the water trail to turnip rock kinda sucks because there isn't any where to stop and eat. The beach owners are horrible because the post signage for no trespassing everywhere. Nature should be enjoyable and enjoyed by everyone.
Absolutely incredible time here. The website is professional and simple to navigate. I was able to easily make a quick reservation for a few kayaks. However, the weather was really bad when the day came along (Michigan, right?) and they called me promptly at 8am to tell me that the water wasn't safe and they'd be canceling my rsvp with a full refund. Classy people.
